In the past,we had only Gnome and KDE,then came XFCE ,this 1 was mostly intended to run smooth on low specs hardware.

However,the past few years,the Linux desktop experience quite evolved.....but while Gnome forks,like for example Mate,a fork of Gnome 2 and Cinnamon,a fork of Gnome 3 slowly were adopted by a lot of distributions,there was only beta developement under KDE's flag......

But now it's time to fight back and get some market share back from the Gnome derivates..... :headbang:

I truly hope it's gonna be adopted by a lot of distributions,as,while I'm still only a Linux newbie, I always liked KDE more rhan Gnome,because of it's similarities with the OS I'm really used to....Windows.... ;)
