I'm looking to buy an android tv box for my not so smart tv and i'm looking at a couple of options right now.

Anyone have any experience with these models mx android tv box and mygica atv1800e.

I'm trying to cut out the cable company fed up of paying so much when there's a ton of free legal alternatives.

Tired of being abused and not enjoying it. :help:

I think the top sellers are Avov and mygica. Only just reading up on the IPTV as late so haven't decided if I want to try it or not.

I have unlimited wifi so I wouldn't have to worry about that.

I still keep my satellite TV , basic subscription as I know its reliable.

Thanks Windrider. That's what i've been reading the Mygica seems to be one of the biggest and accessible one.

I'll probably be trying out one of theirs. They also have new models coming out soon maybe i'll wait for those.

Cool. If you do get one down the road, let me know how you like it.

My brother got the M8s for Christmas. Wow I was so surprised at what movies and tv shows you get for free. It's not even jailbroke lol. So many

2015 movies on there. Was crazy lol

I am still deciding on an Android box or IPTV box.

Cheapest option would be either run a hdmi cable from pc to TV and run kodi from pc using tv a second screen with a custom build like gears of war (plenty of free builds on the net)

You can then stream movies & tv when you want including some live tv too.

Other option is something like an M8 android box amazon sell them for around $30.00 but i would highly recommend buying a bluetooth keyboard with built

in mouse pad for ease of use. The free kodi builds setup to stream content can be downloaded and put on any android box too.

I bought a Q Box about a month ago and it's a great piece of kit for £50 ($60)

Look around for a discontinued (and cheap) Nexus Player.  It is still supported, even has Android 7 Nougat!
