Hey guys, I posted here a couple months ago about building a PC and was going to build it in January but unfortunately it got delayed due to me being a poor uni student XD, well anyways fast forward to now I've finally got the funds and increased the budget a bit and built this bad boy ( sorta) and I'd love your input if there's any changes you think are needed before i click the buy button :D http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/cpxJ23

I'm not fond of Seagate HD's but that's me.  I would also want a heftier power supply.  The case doesn't have a CD/DVD drive bay.  If that's not an issue for you, don't worry about it.

I like it and your choices. Have you considered water cooling for your CPU?

I've noticed that they make a combo kit with your CPU & a Corsair cooler.

AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz Eight Core + Corsair Hydro H90 Cooler

The closed water cooling solutions aren't the mess & hassle of the reservoir systems.

Then again with your chosen CPU @ 125 watts and the step up CPUs @ 220 watts. You're prolly just fine with air cooled.

USB optical drives are perfectly adequate for any system & don't have any performance loss. I use the same on my laptop, and use a HDD in the optical drive slot for as often that I actually ever connect a DVD drive.

Well you're at 243 for your mobo + CPU that's pretty hard to beat. + you're making your selections VS bundled, once you change selections on the bundles up goes the price.

Yeah, I'm OK with your PSU at what it is (450W) if you aren't going to try to add another GPU in the future.

I'm sure that others wouldn't be happy with it, since it makes upgrading difficult.

Cheaper isn't always better on a critical component like a PSU that has the most failure rates in a PC build.

the build should be okay with the 450 watt PSU but I would still reccommend no less than a 550 watt PSU but that is just my personal prefference.

It is always better to have more watts then less watts with PSUs but as long as you have enough for like 100-150 Watts over the requirements you are fine. Pay more attention to the 80+ ratings. The higher the metal name the better quality and like mentioned above you would want quality in these things because if they blow it can be costly.

I really am not a fan of AMD, lots of engines but I think an I5 will serve you better.
