Which SSD ?

240GB KINGSTON HYPER-X PREDATOR PCIe SSD (up to 1400MB/sR | 600MB/sW)
0r
Plextor 256GB M6e PCI-Express (upto 770MB/sR | 580MB/sW)

Is there any reason to buy one or the other, price is about the same :banghead:

If you're crazy about speed - go with Kingston, if you really need those extra GB on the 256 variant, go with Plextor.

I have just bought and fitted a Samsung 500GB 850 EVO that uses 3D V-Nand technology. It is guaranteed for 5 years when used with the Samsung SSD management program.

Thanks cognizione for the great find on the SSD bench marks, I tend to favor the Intel 750 as it leans more to the read speed as it heritage is from server usage. Several of the test clearly show that the write speed takes it below the SM951. If I had a motherboard with an m2 slot I might tempted to go with one of those, but seeing that the Intel 750 has 3X4 pcie it becomes my first choice as it also has NMVe which I think will prove better in the long run as it develops.
