hi, can I safely delete Directorys (Windows.old etc.) that is remaining after I've update build 10166 to 10240?

Yes you can,but be sure that you don't need anything to recover out of it b4 you proceed....

If you have problems just deleting it, goto Disk Cleanup (run as Admin) and delete the windows.old & installation/setup files plus the Demo crap if you wish.

great info here. is it ok to delete an ESD file or am I better keeping it.?
