Windows 10 IP 14971 comes with the new Paint 3D installed.  If you prefer the Classic Paint to the new Paint 3D then just run the following registry file.  No restart is needed to either enable or disable the Classic Paint.  I tested it, and it works!

Enable

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Paint\Settings]
"DisableModernPaintBootstrap"=dword:00000001

Disable

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Paint\Settings]
"DisableModernPaintBootstrap"=-

Also you can download an executable which will install the Classic Paint app so it will coexist with the Paint 3D app. Here is the link to the download page.

Here is direct download of the executable from Mega.
